Elrods is a small family owned and run nursery, very nice people with a good selection plant material, additives and hardscape products. Twice I have picked out a less than perfect looking specimen (for bonsai) and both times they gave it to me free with my order.

I bought 5 Carolina blue Sapphire cypress
From Elrod's. I was concerned from the moment we planted them. I was put off by the owner and said not to worry. Out of the 5 trees planted 3 died almost immediately and one is slowly dying. Only one is healthy and looking good. When I reported the problem and even though I was told by my contracted he guarantees his trees. He refused to replace the dead trees and in a very nasty manner said I was lying never said he'd guarantee anything and accused me of not watering. I've been a planting for years and know what I'm doing and have never had such a bad experience. I would said buyer beware. Poor service, no guarantee and nasty costumer service.
