Mountain Gardens, carrying more than 150 cultivars of tough plants. Growing at 7200 ft, the mix of natives, ornamentals, vegetable bedding plants, trees and shrubs are carried through winter dormancy in unheated greenhouses, then hardened off until they are safe to plant out in the spring. Fifteen plus years of culling for plants that can take mile high (and more) living.
