Use cubes to store herbs

If you want your herbs to be semi-fresh instead of dried, store them using ice cubes. This way, you can keep them frozen in the freezer until you are ready to put them on your next pizza, pasta, or other tasty dish. Here's how you do it:

Step 1: Pick the healthiest and freshest shoots of the herbs you want to store. Separate the leaves from the stems. Wash the leaves and cut them up into smaller pieces. You can use a knife or scissors to do this.

Step 2: Put fresh water into an ice-cube tray and fix each ice-cube square about a quarter of the way.

Step 3: Put the herbs into the cubes-make sure the leaves are covered by the water

Step 4: Once all spots are filled, top the tray with water and store in the freezer.

Step 5: Tap the ice-cube tray to take out the cubes. Store the cubes in a plastic bag until you are ready to use the herbs.
