Timber Run Gardens was established in 1973. The Vision of Steve Carter, founder and owner, was to bring quality landscape design and plantings plus the first professional horticulture landscape garden center to the greater Zanesville area. The large greenhouse that is connected to the retail store was originally part of the 1920’s Wyandt vegetable gardens in Newark, Ohio.
