All of our plants are grown in raised beds or field rows. We use composted soil, sheep manure, and our own leaf humus to encourage strong growth. We fertilize lightly in mid-April with an organic fertilizer (available for sale at the nursery). We are convinced that our growing techniques allow us to offer you strong, naturally grown plants which will readily adapt to your garden.

I have only dealt with this company one time...in 1994! I was curious about growing hostas from seed. There was a big selection and I chose a few different varieties. To my surprise, I had hundreds of beautiful seedlings. There was a note in my order form that hosta seed were very easy to grow. They were right!
But, I was moving to North Carolina from New Jersey. My plants moved with me and were planted in my new yard. They are all amazing as of this day. I was, also, able to meet Tony Avent and Bob Solberg as I had joined the Hosta Society.
My love for Hostas are still a great part of my life to this day. So, thank you. I just found that flyer while organizing and wondered if there were any more of those great hosta seeds.likewife
