Agway of Cape Cod is a family-owned and operated business with locations in Dennis, Chatham, and Orleans. The Wile Family of Brewster, who are now in their third generation, own and manage the business. In 2018, Agway of Cape Cod celebrated its 25th anniversary, although its roots can be traced back even further.
The story of Agway began in the 1960s in Northboro, Massachusetts, when Roger Wile, a farmer specializing in poultry and cattle, opened the first farm and feed store for the family. This original Agway store quickly became a local landmark in Northboro, largely due to the presence of a massive rooster statue in the parking lot. To this day, the iconic fixture can still be found at 411 West Main Street.
With a legacy spanning several decades, Agway of Cape Cod continues to serve the Cape Cod community, providing quality agricultural supplies and services. As a family-run business, they take pride in their deep-rooted history and commitment to their customers.
