Gale's Garden Center Willoughby Hills

Our family originates from Italy. In 1919, our grandparents, Nunu (Grandma) and Nuno (Grandpa) Donzelli, embarked on a journey from Sicily to Ellis Island in search of a new life. They eventually made their way to Ohio, where they found employment in the manufacturing industry. Their son, "Sam," our father, was born in Akron, Ohio. After serving in the Korean War, he worked night shifts to support our family. In 1953, he and our mother, "Bonnie," took a leap of faith and opened a small florist shop. Through their unwavering dedication and hard work, the business thrived and grew.

In 1965, our parents joined forces with William Gale, a resident of Cleveland, and together they established Gale's Westlake Garden Center at its current location.

Today, Julie Donzelli DiFeo and Pam Donzelli, as the next generation, are proudly carrying on the family business. Our aim is to create a unique and exceptional garden center that honors our family's history. We are committed to offering our customers the finest products and plants while providing our staff with a nurturing and fulfilling work environment. We aspire to be a source of pride for our community and an enjoyable destination for shopping. Our goal is to continually enhance our selection, services, and overall shopping experiences.
