I have several trees in my yard I have purchased at Garden World over the years. The selection and quality are some of the best I have found while searching through several different nurseries. Prices are high, but all of my Trees have done exceptionally we'll after planted. I am heading there again today to look for large trees for my new yard. I am excited.
I also purchased a huge pot from Garden World in 2007 to plant my black bamboo. Not only has it held up well where a cheaper lessor quality pot would have cracked, it made the move to my new home without incident. Yay.

After seeing Garden World off the highway for years, we decided to make the trip to visit the nursery. It was a tremendous waste of time. You would think a large retail establishment so close to local growers would have good prices. Wrong! The pricing at Garden World is absurd. We have found the same quality maples at downtown Portland nurseries or in hardware stores for a fraction of the cost. On average, plants seemed to be inflated by 30-40%. Some trees were marked up even more. Save yourself the trip and disappointment.
