Prospector’s Nursery started with a dream to return to our family’s agrarian roots. We opened for business in the Spring of 2002 after three years of planning. We are a family owned Garden Center and Gift Shop located in beautiful Nevada City, California. We strive to offer the best products we can find on the market today.

Nice small family run nursery. Nicely designed areas laid out to show how plants will look in your own garden. Unusual plants not seen in other nurseries. Staff are very helpful and full of information on how the plants will survive in this area. Good selection of statuary and pots.Very well stocked gift shop with gardening and other gifts. Art and gardening classes held free throughout the year. They will special order any plant available from growers if there is something special you want. They did this for me many times and there was no extra charge. Seniors get a 10%discount on Mondays. Give then a visit, I/\'m sure you will ove this nursery!
