Wow.... Bought a VERY expensive tree last year to commemorate my Father in Law.... did lots of homework, asked LOTS of questions. Planted tree meticulously. Tree made it through last winter and this spring. (Tree is a LACY OAK, about 12 Ft. High) Went by the tree today and a 3 ft section of of the bark has literally fallen off down to the center of the tree. ZERO CHANCE OF SURVIVAL. Called Strong today. Talked to one guy. Was told only had a 90 day warranty, should have paid to have in installed. Transferred to someone else.... explained my situation and concern. He also said 90 day warranty on paper. Explained that I spoke with 3 different people there INCLUDING the woman who owner.. All knew I was taking and planting tree. All said 1 year warranty. (LOWES EVEN HAS A 1 YEAR), He said I should have paid to have in installed THEN it would have been a 1 year warranty. Got heated. Told him I was pissed and was gonna give a 1 star review..
