WHAT A JOKE!!!! Purchased a maple tree, for 79.00 on 7-11-14 at 2:00p.m. Had it planted per the instructions by 7:00 p.m. Tree had a root system, but no root ball. Wondered at that point if the tree would make it or not. Gave it a good water, and then keep it moist. By 7-18-14 all the leaves were dead, if you touched them they fell off. So, took it back. The owner saw us and said loudly bring that here I will look at it. He said you planted it wrong, we said no. He said you watered it too much we said no, He said you didn't water it enough, we said no. We tried to tell him that we are familiar with planting trees as we have alot in our yard. This guy has to be one of the rudiest people i have run into. He is very rude to customers. Finally told a worker to give a refund of 39.53. What a rip-off, why offer a warranty if you are going to grill people and treat them like dirt. At least Lowes gives you a year w/receipt to return plants. Valley Nursey is complete JOKE!!

Rude customer service. Was at store twice in two days and both times was treated extremely rudely when asked staff questions! My friend who was with me couldn't believe their attitudes as well. Will definitely be finding a new place to shop for garden supplies!

Do not shop here! The managers at this place feel it is ok to yell at their guests and make women cry. They will try every method to get out of a warranty situation. I have the quality of trees to be sub par. The service was cruel at best and the general manager of the tree department should be fired.
