The 2011 nursery season marks another milestone for the Womack family. It was seventy-five years ago that James H. Womack started the nursery here on the home place. The last seventy - five years have taught us many lessons in practical horticulture.

Fall of 2012 I ordered many peach, pear, plum and apple trees from a total of 4 different nurseries. Now it is spring 2014 and out of all the trees, I have about a 90% loss rate from all other nurseries that were not Womack. I have a 100% surviving and thriving rate from all the trees I got from Womack. Everything is beautiful with their trees going in to the second season. I wasted my money with the other nurseries. From now on, Womack with be my exclusive nursery provider.
